Surge Youth

6th-12th Grade Students

We seek to prepare students for their future by providing an environment where they can connect with God, form meaningful relationships, and become grounded in biblical truth.

Our Jr. High Class (6th-8th grade) meets on Sundays and is dismissed with POM Kids during the Worship Service.

Surge Youth Class (6th-12th grade) meets on 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of the month.

Hyphen Young Adults

Ages 18-30

Hyphen Young Adults is a ministry to connect young adults who are navigating college, beginning careers, and entering adulthood. Young Adults are a vital part of POM. In addition to weekly services and church events, there are multiple events throughout the year for young adults to gather and fellowship.

Meet Our Team

Matt & Kortnee Faircloth

Student Pastor

Matt and Kortnee are passionate about seeing youth and young adults grow in their relationship with God and discover their purpose in His kingdom. Matt has served as Student Pastor at POM since 2014. His educational background includes business administration and marketing. He is currently pursuing his master’s degree in education to become a middle school teacher. Kortnee has been an elementary educator in Henry County for over 10 years. Matt and Kortnee have led Surge Youth together since they were married in 2017. They have one son, Rowan.
